Synagogue Activities

Our active Development Committee put on a range of cultural, educational and social activities throughout the year including quiz nights, horse race nights, any questions - an evening of wine and wisdom, murder mystery nights etc. The Committee is also involved with the Guild in organising communal suppers and communal Seder nights. More details are available from our secretary or the Council.
Chalkwell Club
The Chalkwell Club is an independent club run at the Synagogue for our older community members. The group organises a number of social activities including guest speakers, an annual dinner dance and organised trips to a variety of places.
The group meets every other Sunday evening throughout the year. For information on meeting dates please contact Josie at 01702 330 316.
SAFE – Supporting Asperger Families in Essex
SAFE meets once a month on Monday evenings and provides a number of resources for families with children with Asperger Syndrome – a form of autism that is often difficult to diagnose. The group invites guest speakers and runs a library of resources and social skills training groups for teenagers.
